Why Unscripted Gravity

I don’t like poetry.
I don’t search for it.
I don’t read it for pleasure.
I’ve never studied it, never learned its rules, and I don’t care to.

But since I was twelve, it has poured out of me without asking.

The first time it truly hit me was when I wrote about the pull of truth, how discovering it layer by layer feels like turning the pages of a book you can’t put down.

That piece became my first blog poem, Unscripted Gravity.
I didn’t set out to name it, but when the words landed, it felt like they had named themselves.

My style changes over time.
Sometimes it flows with rhythm and rhyme.
Sometimes it breaks apart into raw, unpolished fragments.
And sometimes it’s both, structured in sound but wild in form.

But constantly, it circles back to my original foundation: unbound, unscripted, and free of rules.

That same freedom has spilled into other forms of creation.
Unscripted Gravity now exists in men’s and women’s clothing, home goods, and travel items, each carrying the same creative DNA as my writing.
I’ve expanded into music as well, using my guitar, stomp pad, and AI to give my poems another voice.

Some songs are reflective and slow-burning, others alive with movement, but all are born from the same source, the words that refuse to leave me alone.

I don’t write to become a poet.
I don’t make music to chase an audience.
I create because it’s the only way I know to keep my thoughts from sinking too deep inside me.
Unscripted Gravity isn’t just a name, it’s the truth of how my creativity has always worked: unplanned, unbound, and impossible to resist.
